## Title: Field Sales and Business Development Representative – Solar Energy
About Us
We are a leading provider of solar energy solutions, specializing in high-performance Solar Inverters, Lithium Batteries, Portable Power Stations, and Commercial & Industrial Solar Systems. We are expanding our footprint in Nigeria and seeking aggressive, street-smart sales professionals to build our distribution network from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential solar distributors, wholesalers, and installers across Nigeria using digital tools (Google Maps, Facebook, LinkedIn) and social media
- Onboard new wholesalers, negotiate pricing and contracts, and maintain long-term relationships to ensure consistent repeat orders
- Educate clients on the technical advantages of our products and solutions compared to local competitors
- Handle the entire sales cycle from lead generation and site assessment to closing deals and payment collection
- Maintain daily logs of customer interactions and market feedback via Google Sheets and WhatsApp
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years of proven sales experience (Solar industry experience is a major advantage)
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian solar market and existing networks in major electronics hubs
- High proficiency with WhatsApp, Google Maps, and social media for business lead generation
- Fluent in English; ability to speak Igbo or Yoruba is a significant advantage for market penetration
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to generate leads independently
- High resilience and target-oriented approach
