Main Function

Operate equipment and wells by applying operating and safety procedures and guidelines to meet daily operational plans, reduce equipment failure, and ensure efficient resource administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement daily work objectives while maintaining housekeeping, safety, health, environmental, and security standards
• Participate actively in daily toolbox meetings and regular safety meetings with documented attendance
• Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions through continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient, and safe operational conditions
• Function as Equipment Care Technician, performing routine maintenance activities and equipment care
• Report immediately when alarm, emergency, or emergency shutdown systems are out of service
• Provide detailed, clear, and accurate information during shift changes to ensure unit conditions are current and operational continuity is maintained
• Coordinate, control, and monitor maintenance jobs according to corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance planning
• Record all relevant operational events, abnormal situations, and deviations in the logbook
• Collect product samples for laboratory analysis and execute field laboratory tests
• Participate actively in emergency response activities
• Report incidents internally and escalate awareness according to Incident Reporting Guidelines
• Keep the Operations Shift Supervisor informed and consult on all operational activities
• Maintain effective communication across the work team to address issues and actions promptly
• Provide accurate information concerning well-producing problems, current production rates, and well condition
• Ensure well problem diagnostics are thorough and complete before requesting Well Work intervention operations
