Female Operations Manager at Washryte Laundry

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operational activities at our laundry facility. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent service, managing workflows, overseeing staff, and implementing operational improvements to ensure optimal facility performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement current systems and technical advancements in laundry operations
• Maintain and oversee all laundry equipment upkeep and functionality
• Coordinate and direct all laundry staff members
• Create and manage weekly staff duty rosters
• Oversee procurement and supply of industrial chemicals, products, assets, and machinery
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to improve operations
• Ensure all contractual standards are met
• Train and develop team members in collaboration with the HR department
• Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and annual budgets
• Maintain records of stock, supplies, inventory, and assets
• Assign and review work of laundry staff involved in receiving, washing, and ironing
• Coordinate with the Engineering Department on routine equipment maintenance
• Develop new methods for increasing laundry efficiency
• Coordinate with the maintenance team on outstanding machinery repairs
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales and workflow reports
• Submit daily sales reports and conduct month-end analysis
• Oversee and supervise all departments
• Conduct weekly meetings with all Heads of Department
• Organize daily staff briefings and workflow schedules
• Contribute to process and procedure development
• Conduct market surveys and procurement activities
• Prepare management reports

Required Qualifications

• Minimum MSc or BSc in a related field
• At least 5 years of Operations Manager experience
• Proven experience in the laundry industry
