About the Role

A reputable organization is seeking an experienced and hands-on Factory/Production Manager to oversee a high-capacity recycling line. This is a fully onsite position ideal for candidates with a proven track record managing continuous 24/7 factory operations and a strong Mechanical Engineering background.

Location

Atan, Ogun State, Nigeria. Candidates living in the surrounding areas (Ota, Sango-Ota, Iju, Lusada, Agbara, or Ifo) are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage round-the-clock production operations on a Sunday night to Sunday morning cycle
• Oversee recycling line machinery including extruders, shredders, washers, dryers, and related equipment
• Lead troubleshooting, maintenance, and machine performance optimization initiatives
• Supervise supervisors, operators, and shift teams
• Drive process improvement, reduce downtime, and increase output
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards across the facility
• Reside onsite or in close proximity to the factory for immediate operational support

Requirements

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years' experience in manufacturing
• 5+ years in senior factory/production management roles
• Strong experience with recycling lines or similar continuous-operation factories
• Ability to supervise day and night shifts and manage rapid-response operations
• Strong leadership, mechanical troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities

Nice to Have

• PMP or PE certification
• Experience in plastics, polymers, packaging, paper, or recycling industries

Compensation

₦400,000 – ₦600,000 monthly
