Experienced Pattern Marker

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Position Overview: - We’re looking for a highly skilled Pattern Maker to join our growing fashion house. - The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in pattern drafting, a keen eye for precision, and the ability to translate complex, creative designs into production ready patterns. Key Responsibilities: - Develop accurate patterns for couture and ready-to-wear garments using internationally recognized methods. - Interpret detailed sketches and design concepts into well-fitted, production-ready patterns. - Work closely with designers, tailors, and production teams to ensure excellent cut, fit, and garment balance. - Adjust and refine patterns as needed during fittings or prototype reviews. - Maintain pattern records, ensure consistency, and contribute to the development of standard sizing systems. Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a professional pattern maker in a fashion or couture setting. - Proficiency in either the Natalie Bray or Helen Armstrong pattern drafting methods (experience with other international standard systems will also be considered). - Deep understanding of cut, fit, proportion, and garment construction. - Ability to interpret and execute complex and extensive designs accurately. - Experience with draping patterns is a strong advantage. - Attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
