Experienced Field Recovery Officer

About the Role

Beyond Credit Limited is seeking an experienced Field Recovery Officer to manage debt recovery operations across designated areas in Lagos. You will be responsible for recovering outstanding loans and managing at-risk client portfolios while maintaining strong relationships with debtors and internal stakeholders.

Area of Coverage

Bariga, Mushin, Orile, and Oshodi

Key Responsibilities

• Recover bad debts from debtors showing unwillingness to repay loans
• Conduct regular reviews and visits to clients with outstanding loan portfolios at risk
• Perform daily reviews of all outstanding and overdue loan clients
• Prepare regular reports and recommendations to the bank on actions required to protect funds from bad loan exposure
• Manage recovery of classified loans
• Initiate prosecution processes for hard-core debtors in accordance with bank policy
• Negotiate workout plans with willing debtors
• Liaise with branches to manage and monitor non-performing loans
• Complete any additional responsibilities assigned by your immediate supervisor

Required Qualifications

• HND or B.Sc Degree
• 1–3 years of experience in recovery within a Microfinance Institution
• Previous loan recovery experience
