Key Responsibilities

• Work autonomously and responsibly carry out account reconciliations on business costs and expenditures
• Collect and analyse data about the company's operational costs
• Set standard costs of manufactured goods
• Develop and analyse cost standards, prepare management cost audit reports and present findings
• Perform internal cost control functions using accounting principles
• Prepare monthly cost accounting reports
• Recommend changes to the company's processes and policies to reduce costs and maximize profit
• Advise executives on appropriate costing strategies based on financial analysis
• Support other company accountants with invoicing and capital expenditures

Required Qualifications

• BSc or HND in Accounting
• Over 10 years' experience in management cost accounting roles, preferably in an industrial environment
• Professional membership with ICAN
• Strong analytical and statistical skills

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Sage accounting software
• Proficiency in SAP
• Team spirit and collaboration abilities
• Account reconciliation expertise
