## Title: Procurement Officer

About the Role

Felton Energy Services Limited is expanding its dynamic team and seeking a skilled Procurement Officer. You will be responsible for developing and implementing processes related to procurement and sourcing activities. Working closely with the Procurement Lead, you will ensure efficient progress reporting and successful execution of procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet company objectives
  • Identify and establish partnerships with profitable suppliers
  • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms and finalize purchase details
  • Examine and test existing contracts to ensure compliance and effectiveness
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve procurement effectiveness
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to clarify specifications and expectations
  • Build and maintain a client database for procurement purposes
  • Perform data analysis to anticipate changes in negotiating ability and prepare control strategies
  • Conduct risk management for supply contracts and agreements
  • Control procurement spend and foster a culture of long-term cost savings
  • Follow up on procurement enquiries and leads to ensure successful outcomes
  • Prepare and submit tender and proposal packages
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Procurement Lead

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field
