## Title: Executive Assistant / HR Officer
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Executive Assistant/HR Officer to join Venmac Resources Limited in Lagos, Nigeria. This position is central to ensuring effective human resources operations and supporting executive-level administrative functions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the company's HR operational policies and processes are adhered to and continually improved
- Assist in all activities concerning staff sourcing, recruitment, performance management, staff discipline, and HR administration
- Coordinate all matters related to employee work permits and visas
- Coordinate and/or conduct departmental training and new hire orientation programs
- Implement corporate policies and procedures on compensation, incentives, bonuses, and benefits
- Continually assess employee morale by analyzing absenteeism, turnover records, lateness, and resignations
- Coordinate and oversee all matters related to staff accommodation, facilities, and transport
- Coordinate, control, and inspect employee accommodation, staff canteen, and restrooms to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort
- Coordinate employee wellness and safety programs
- Conduct needs analysis and develop, implement, and monitor training programs and materials
- Encourage high standards of employee conduct and behavior, and coordinate disciplinary procedures as needed
- Ensure performance appraisals are conducted for all employees annually or per company policy, review appraisals, and follow up on development needs
- Assist in communicating key messages to all staff
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring of all employees
- Support department heads in the formulation of HR policies and procedures for their respective departments
- Ensure all procedures concerning promotions, transfers, and staff resignations comply with company policy and legal requirements
- Assist in developing and conducting management training on leadership and related topics
