Equipment Specialist (Laboratory / Radiology / Ultrasound) at Quantum Medical Solutions (OMS),

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and motivated Equipment Specialist to join our dynamic and expanding team. As an Equipment Specialist, you will be the subject matter expert for your specific modality (Laboratory, Radiology, or Ultrasound). This advanced role involves complex troubleshooting, technical leadership, and training to support our field teams and ensure the highest level of service for sophisticated medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level hands-on service, maintenance, and repair for equipment within your specialty (Laboratory, Radiology, or Ultrasound)
• Ensure the timely and effective completion of both breakdown and preventive maintenance tasks on complex systems
• Offer advanced technical support and guidance to field engineers and technicians, acting as a second-line resource for challenging issues
• Develop, organize, and deliver technical training modules to enhance the skills of technical staff
• Interact professionally with customers to resolve complex technical complaints and provide expert recommendations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through manufacturer-provided training and continuous professional development

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Biomedical or Electronic Engineering with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, OR a bachelor's degree in engineering with 5 to 6 years of specialized experience in medical equipment maintenance
• In-depth, hands-on knowledge and proven track record in servicing Laboratory, Radiology, or Ultrasound equipment
• Certification from or completion of official manufacturer training (highly preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to develop training materials and effectively train other technical staff
• Outstanding communication, customer management, and leadership skills
