## Title: Completions Engineer III
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Completions Engineer III to prepare detailed engineering designs and coordinate all phases of well planning and completion. In this technical role, you will ensure geological and reservoir objectives are met while maintaining the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection throughout well design and execution.
Main Functions
- Prepare detailed engineering designs and coordinate all phases of planning and completing a well
- Ensure geological and reservoir objectives of the well are met while applying the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection
- Prepare designs and well plans representing optimal costs and investments
- Provide technical review and support to drill team designs and operations
- Evaluate and progress new technology, including subsea technology applications
Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Level 3 Completions Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitate the preparation and monitor capital budgets relating to completions and well design
- Ensure accurate and sustainable quality of data for timing projects
- Interact daily with completion foreman, drilling leadership, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with completion service companies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Identify and apply industry best practices as applicable
- Work in conjunction with safety, environmental, and field operations personnel to optimize safety performance
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Broad and extensive knowledge of completions design, equipment, operations, standards, and specifications (including subsea systems technology)
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, particularly for technical and business communications
