Email Marketing Specialist / Email Marketing Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Email Marketing Specialist to join our team remotely. This role involves creating, executing, and optimizing email campaigns that drive customer engagement and retention. The position includes a 2-month probationary period to evaluate effectiveness, after which successful candidates may be retained as full-time team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns from concept to delivery
• Segment email lists and create personalized content for different customer groups
• Write compelling subject lines, copy, and calls-to-action that drive engagement and conversions
• Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, making data-driven optimizations
• Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing email templates
• Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
• Conduct A/B testing and recommend improvements based on campaign results
• Stay up-to-date with email marketing trends, tools, and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing
• Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Analytical mindset with experience in tracking, reporting, and optimizing campaigns
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Experience with automation workflows, segmentation, and personalization (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary: ₦100,000/month
• Probation period: 2 months, with retention determined based on performance
