Electrical Technician (Level 3) at Fort Knox Group

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Electrical Technician (Level 3) to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out advanced electrical installation, testing, and maintenance tasks, while providing supervision and technical guidance to junior electricians. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional who can manage site work efficiently and uphold safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cabling and connection of distribution boards and control panels
• Conduct basic testing and labeling of circuits, fixtures, and fittings
• Carry out emergency lighting installation and ensure functionality of systems
• Read and interpret shop drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics accurately
• Supervise and train small teams of electricians and apprentices on-site
• Monitor on-site safety compliance and report potential hazards
• Assist in planning and organizing daily work tasks and resource allocation
• Ensure all electrical installations adhere to company standards and approved drawings
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the site supervisor or project engineer

• Perform work safely to protect yourself and others from harm
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies of the organization
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and follow signage and instructions
• Report any defects, unsafe conditions, or incidents immediately
• Support a safe and environmentally responsible work culture
• Participate in safety briefings and emergency drills as required

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Certificate, Trade Test, or OND in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 4–6 years of proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and train team members
