## Title: Electrical Technician – Level 2

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical Technician (Level 2) to join our growing technical team. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, wiring, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and components. This role requires practical experience, attention to detail, and the ability to perform electrical tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform wiring of all types of circuits including ring mains, radials, and distribution systems
  • Terminate and install light fittings, switches, sockets, and other electrical accessories
  • Assist in testing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment
  • Work independently or under limited supervision to complete assigned tasks
  • Ensure all work meets approved drawings, specifications, and company quality standards
  • Maintain clean and organized work environments on project sites
  • Support the supervision and training of junior electricians or assistants
  • Carry out any other related tasks as assigned by the site supervisor or project engineer

Health, Safety & Environmental (OHSE) Responsibilities

  • Perform all tasks safely to prevent harm to self and others
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures in the workplace
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with safety signage
  • Immediately report identified defects, hazards, or near misses
  • Promote safe work practices and environmental awareness, including waste reduction and energy efficiency
  • Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures, as well as the location of safety equipment
