## Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to manage, design, develop, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components across various projects, typically within the industrial, manufacturing, or construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems, installations, and products (including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and machinery) based on project requirements and specifications
- Create and interpret technical drawings, specifications, circuit diagrams, and topographical maps using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Manage electrical projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing the installation, construction, and manufacturing activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Develop and implement effective preventative and predictive maintenance programs for electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical failures and issues in existing systems to minimize downtime
- Design testing methods and procedures; oversee testing and commissioning of installed systems to confirm functionality, reliability, and conformance to design specifications and required standards
- Ensure that all electrical designs, installations, and operations strictly comply with relevant local and international industry standards, electrical codes, and safety regulations (including high and low voltage equipment)
- Prepare detailed specifications for the purchase of electrical equipment, materials, and components
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution
- 2–4 years of cognate experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the manufacturing, construction, or energy (power generation/distribution) sectors
