## Title: E&I Technician L2 (Offshore)
About the Role
We are expanding our dynamic team and seeking a skilled E&I Technician L2 to join our offshore operations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and performing planned maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment and systems in ISBL installations during shift working hours to ensure safe and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical and Electronic Maintenance
- Troubleshoot and solve electrical and electronic faults on installations
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Diagnose malfunctions and travel on-site to resolve issues
- Handle limited electrical and electronic repairs (e.g., motor fuses, position and pressure measurements, pump motor control repairs)
- Collaborate with or work under supervision of day shift E&I technicians on complex tasks
- De-energize and re-energize devices, verify measurements, and check circuits on installations
Preventive Maintenance and Testing
- Perform preventive automation maintenance on appliances and installations
- Carry out regularly scheduled safety circuit tests following strictly defined procedures and steps
Installation and Modifications
- Contribute to implementation of changes to installations and processes (MOC)
- Install new components or remove obsolete components as part of MOC processes
- Pull cable, run conduit, and terminate electrical wiring according to drawings
Equipment Repair and Troubleshooting
- Repair and replace AC/DC motors (480/4160 VAC), starters, buckets, switchgear, drives, relays, switches, breaker panels, and other components from low to medium voltage
- Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical equipment, including pneumatic, electric, heat tracing, and fluid-powered items
- Read and interpret electrical drawings for troubleshooting and installation/replacement of electrical systems
- Troubleshoot, replace, and calibrate instrumentation (flow, pressure, temperature, level, position switches)
- Service process analyzers, LEL and toxic gas detectors
- Repair actuated quarter-turn valves with position indication
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an E&I Technician at Level 2 or equivalent
- Knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and electronic equipment
- Experience with AC/DC motors, switchgear, and control systems
- Knowledge of instrumentation calibration and maintenance
- Familiarity with offshore operations and safety procedures
