Driver / Chauffeur at HOP Mobile Transport Limited

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and professional Driver to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, staff, or goods to designated locations in a timely manner. This role demands excellent driving skills, adherence to traffic regulations, basic vehicle maintenance knowledge, and professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned vehicles for the transportation of staff, clients, or goods
• Comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies
• Perform daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, water, tyres, lights, brakes)
• Maintain the cleanliness and serviceability of the vehicle
• Record mileage, fuel usage, and trip details as required
• Report accidents, damages, or mechanical issues promptly
• Assist with the loading and unloading of items or luggage
• Plan routes and adjust to traffic conditions for timely arrival
• Provide courteous service to passengers and represent the company professionally

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent
• 2 – 5 years proven driving experience (corporate, commercial, or private)
• Valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle
• Clean driving record with no history of major traffic offences

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional vocational training in driving or vehicle maintenance
• Experience with long-distance travel

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and in traffic
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics

• Must be physically fit and able to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if required
