Die Cutting Machine Operator

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Position Overview: - We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our production team. - The ideal candidate will operate and maintain the die cutting machine to ensure accurate, high-quality finishing of print and fabrication jobs. Key Responsibilities: - Operate, set up, and calibrate flatbed die cutting and related production equipment. - Interpret job sheets, artwork, and material specifications to ensure accurate execution. - Deliver precision cutting, trimming, and finishing in line with quality standards. - Perform routine machine maintenance and promptly report issues to the Maintenance Department. - Coordinate and oversee assistant operators to ensure smooth production operations. - Liaise with Senior Machine Operators/Head of Unit regarding material requisitions and production updates. - Train and mentor Assistant Machine Operators, monitoring their performance and development. - Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines, maintain efficiency, and uphold quality standards. Requirements: - Proven experience operating flatbed die cutting or similar production machinery, with strong technical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintenance. - Ability to interpret technical documents, artwork, and material specifications accurately. - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality output. - Strong teamwork, communication, and supervisory skills, including training and guiding junior staff. - Flexibility to adapt to production demands and consistently meet tight deadlines.
