About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide support in the development, implementation, and assurance of strategies across the enterprise while building functional systems that improve customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and assure enterprise-wide DevOps strategies
• Deploy product updates, identify production issues, and implement integrations that meet customer needs
• Execute and automate operational processes quickly, accurately, and securely
• Improve CI/CD tooling and implement the CI pipeline
• Establish configuration management, automate infrastructure, and implement continuous integration practices
• Implement and improve monitoring and alerting systems
• Build and maintain highly available systems
• Lead and guide the team in identifying and implementing new technologies
• Provide Level 2 technical support
• Deploy updates and fixes to production environments
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve user experience
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Train the team in DevOps best practices to achieve a continuously deployable system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
• Strong Linux and/or Windows system administration background
• Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Configuration Management experience with tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar
• Experience managing production infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
• Good knowledge of Ruby or Python
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Problem-solving attitude
• Team spirit and ability to work collaboratively
