Deposit Mobilization Officer at Elizabeth Maddeux

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Deposit Mobilization Officer to source and mobilize deposits from individuals, SMEs, corporate organizations, and other target customers. This role focuses on growing the bank's deposit base, building strong customer relationships, and promoting savings and investment products to support the bank's liquidity and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers to grow the bank's deposit portfolio
• Conduct regular client visits, follow-ups, and engagement activities to ensure customer retention
• Identify new market opportunities and customer segments
• Track deposit performance and provide regular updates to management
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or deposit mobilization within a microfinance bank
• Experience in microfinance (added advantage)
• Strong understanding of financial products and customer relationship management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
