Dental Nurse at Roperb Dental Clinic

Job Summary

As a Dental Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting our dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and efficient clinical environment. We are looking for a compassionate and reliable team player who values quality care and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures (including general dentistry, orthodontics, cosmetic treatments, etc.)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, materials, and equipment in line with infection control protocols
• Ensure patient comfort and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Accurately update patient records and treatment notes
• Assist with digital X-rays
• Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the treatment rooms
• Provide oral hygiene instructions and post-treatment guidance to patients
• Monitor stock levels of dental supplies and liaise with admin for timely restocking
• Collaborate with dentists, front desk, and other staff for smooth patient flow
• Uphold standards of safety, confidentiality, and patient care

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Dental Nursing or Dental Surgery Technician
• Previous experience in a dental clinic (preferred but not compulsory)
• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A caring and professional attitude towards patients
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Must reside around Chevron/Ajah Axis, Lagos

Working Hours

Monday to Saturday (5 working days per week)
