Delivery Driver at JMG

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Delivery Driver to distribute products to customers in a safe and timely manner. In this role, you will represent our organization professionally and cost-effectively while maintaining high levels of profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes
• Follow designated routes and maintain adherence to time schedules
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles
• Report to supervisor regarding customer complaints or road issues
• Complete delivery logs and required reports
• Ensure all vehicle documentation and particulars are in order
• Fulfill Integrated Management System (IMS) responsibilities including reporting unsafe acts, conditions, or procedures in the workplace
• Participate in fire and emergency drills at work
• Participate in incident reporting and investigation when necessary
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Required Competencies

• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB radios, etc.)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Enthusiastic, dynamic, and self-motivated approach to work
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent physical condition and coordination

Minimum Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
• Valid professional driver's license
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
• Willingness to submit to background and drug checks
• Ability to provide employment references
