Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineer at George Houston Resources Limited

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team. In this presales technical consultancy role, you will provide technical assistance and guidance during the presales and sales process by identifying customers' technical and business requirements and designing appropriate solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in presales technical consultancy to provide technical assistance and guidance during the presales/sales process
• Identify customers' technical and business requirements prior to designing solutions
• Provide adequate support to the Sales team and drive business growth through effective presales engagement
• Achieve set revenue targets through strategic presales activities
• Articulate the Company's technology and product portfolio to both business and technical users
• Consult with technical teams about capabilities and support cross-functional projects
• Communicate complex technical information to non-technical staff in an understandable manner

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.Eng./B.Tech.) in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• 3-5 years of work experience
• ITIL certification
• Relevant OEM professional certifications
• Age: 35-45 years

Technical Requirements

• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) and ability to architect solutions
• Server virtualization technologies (Xenserver, VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Nutanix, etc.)
• Desktop (VDI) and application virtualization technologies
• Web application delivery and networking (load balancing – F5, NetScaler, etc.)
• Mobility solutions (Airwatch, Xenmobile, MobileIron, Blackberry, etc.)
• Hardware and storage systems (HP, IBM, etc.)
• Operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX, Power Systems – AIX, etc.)
• Backup, recovery, and monitoring solutions (infrastructure, application, network, etc.)
• Demo, POV, and POC experience
