Job Summary
The Customer Service Officer is responsible for managing patient interactions and ensuring smooth clinic operations from entry to exit. The role involves welcoming and registering patients, maintaining accurate records, coordinating patient flow, handling inquiries, processing payments, and ensuring a professional and organized reception area. The officer also supports administrative, marketing, and HMO-related activities to enhance overall patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome, register, and assist patients while ensuring accurate collection and updating of patient information
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate efficiently between patients, doctors, and HMO service providers
- Manage appointment scheduling, reminders, and patient inquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Process patient charges, collect payments, and handle HMO pre-authorizations and documentation
- Maintain patient records, ensure cleanliness of the reception area, and support administrative duties
- Engage in customer relationship management through follow-ups, notifications, and periodic marketing activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience
