## Title: Customer Service Officer
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused professional to join our expanding team at Firewood Rice Nigeria. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner
- Provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about food and beverages
- Enter orders into the system and follow up on their status to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor guests' dining experience to ensure satisfaction and encourage feedback
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively
- Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and preferences
- Collect and record customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Communicate special requests or dietary requirements to kitchen staff promptly
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to address order and delivery issues
- Assist in training new front-of-house staff on customer service standards
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and industry trends
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND from a reputable institution
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed when customers are stressed or upset
- Strong critical thinking and customer-centric approach
- Proximity to Surulere area is essential
