Role Overview

This is a full-time on-site role based in Abuja. The Credit Analyst will evaluate financial data, assess creditworthiness, and review loan applications to ensure sound credit decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness of loan applicants
• Review and evaluate loan applications to support sound credit decisions
• Monitor existing loans and track portfolio performance
• Prepare detailed credit reports and credit assessments
• Provide data-driven recommendations to identify and mitigate risks
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• Proficiency in credit management and creditworthiness assessment
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify risks
• Background in finance with knowledge of credit and loan structuring processes
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills for presenting insights and recommendations

Preferred Experience

• Experience in the banking or financial services industry
