## Title: Credit Administration Officer
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Administration Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, assessing creditworthiness, and ensuring sound credit portfolio management in line with our policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate loan applications and analyse financial information to determine credit risk
- Conduct background checks and verify the authenticity of client documents
- Recommend approval or rejection of loan requests based on accurate risk assessment
- Monitor and follow up on loan repayments to ensure timely collections
- Maintain updated records of loan applications, approvals, and disbursements
- Prepare credit reports and present findings to management
- Support the development and implementation of credit policies and risk control measures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage responsible borrowing
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in credit analysis or loan processing, preferably in a microfinance or financial institution
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credit management software
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
Salary
N500,000 per month
