Creative Direction Intern - Shows, Movies & Anime

About the Role

The Creative Direction Intern will support the creative vision, design, and execution of TravelTube's original shows, movies, and anime projects. This role is ideal for interns passionate about storytelling, visual culture, animation, youth media, and African narratives.

You will work closely with writers, producers, animators, educators, and media teams to help shape concepts, characters, visuals, and overall creative direction for student-focused and youth-friendly content.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of creative concepts for shows, movies, and anime
• Assist in defining visual styles, themes, and storytelling direction
• Contribute ideas for characters, worlds, story arcs, and episode structures
• Collaborate with scriptwriters on tone, pacing, and audience engagement
• Work with animation and production teams to ensure creative consistency
• Help ensure content aligns with educational goals and age appropriateness
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, creative reviews, and pitch development
• Support creative documentation such as mood boards, concept notes, and style guides

• Basic understanding of storytelling, visuals, or media production

Nice to Have

• Background in film, media, animation, fine arts, or design
• Experience with storyboarding, illustration, or animation tools
• Familiarity with youth or educational content
• Interest in global shows, anime, or animated storytelling
