## Title: Corporate Sales Branch Head

Role Summary

The Corporate Sales Branch Head drives acquisition and growth of corporate accounts, manages broker relationships, and executes branch-level sales strategies. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong relationship-building abilities, structured sales execution, and the ability to convert medium-to-large corporate opportunities across targeted industries. This role also includes responsibility for mentoring and coaching team members.

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive strategic sales plans to meet individual and branch targets
  • Prospect, pitch, and convert new corporate clients via direct channels, partnerships, and public sector accounts
  • Manage and grow broker relationships, enhancing lead flow and conversion quality
  • Identify and process bid and RFP opportunities; ensure timely submissions
  • Pitch products to banks, co-underwriters, ZGIC, insurance partners, and institutional clients
  • Manage corporate client relationships, ensuring value delivery and retention
  • Provide proactive support on issues, renewals, and client servicing
  • Prepare weekly reports, monthly MPR inputs, and pipeline updates
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with underwriting, operations, and customer service teams to support seamless onboarding

Educational and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in corporate sales, insurance, or financial services
  • CIIN certification (in progress or completed) is an advantage
  • Additional sales or relationship management training is desirable

Key Attributes and Skills

  • Strong B2B selling, pitching, and negotiation ability
  • Good understanding of corporate life insurance products (Group Life, Credit Life, Mortgage Protection, etc.)
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities with brokers, banks, and institutional clients
