About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, creative, and detail-oriented Copywriter Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team at FMR AGENCY in Lagos. This role is crucial for developing engaging and persuasive content across all our brand platforms. The ideal candidate will support the PR and Content Digital Executive in crafting compelling ad copies, researching industry trends, and ensuring all company communication is clear, consistent, and on-brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in writing, editing, and proofreading high-quality, conversion-focused ad copies for digital platforms including social media, email, and websites
• Conduct thorough market and competitor research to identify trends and gather data necessary for creating strategic content and campaigns
• Organize and maintain the library of all written content, ensuring drafts and final files are accurately stored and easily accessible
• Proofread and edit all outgoing communications, presentations, and internal documents to ensure impeccable grammar, tone, and brand consistency
• Utilize Excel and other organizational tools to manage content calendars, track campaign performance, and report on key copywriting metrics
• Work closely with the graphics, social media, and sales teams to ensure visual content and campaigns align seamlessly with the written message
• Carry out other related duties within the scope of work

Required Qualifications

• OND or HND in Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field
• 0–1 year of hands-on copywriting experience or related content creation role (internships count)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a portfolio showcasing writing versatility
• Demonstrated research skills
