Description - The Laboratory Technicians will be responsible for carrying out various types of construction laboratory tests, including soil tests, asphalt tests, concrete tests, and field tests, to meet applicable construction standards. Responsibilities A summary of the role’s responsibilities is as follows: - Preparation and maintenance of laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt or aggregate. - Assist on secondary testing of soil, concrete and asphalt relating to permeability, strength and materials acceptance. - Recording samples according to applicable construction standards. - Compiling and inputting testing results. - Keeping the laboratory in compliance with accreditation standards. - Recording and maintaining equipment calibration and verification. - Any other assigned task(s).
