This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. The Compounding Weighing Lead will oversee the weighing team and ensure accurate, timely weighing of raw materials according to the production plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and provide direction to the weighing team on accurate weighing of all raw materials as per production plan and weighing sheets
• Calibrate and maintain all weighing equipment
• Monitor and maintain healthy stock levels of all raw materials, promptly reporting inadequate inventory to ensure material availability in coordination with the production plan
• Manage material receipt from warehouse, ensuring all related documents and SAP transactions are completed in a timely manner according to procedure
• Manage staging of all weighed materials, ensuring accurate handoff to the mixing team as per procedure
• Maintain all weighing documentation, ensuring continuous review to match actual process records
• Drive accurate raw material stock counts and zero material wastage
• Maintain the safety culture and 5S standards of the weighing and staging areas, ensuring all materials are properly tagged and areas maintain good hygiene conditions
• Ensure strict adherence to proper process order and maintain proper documentation at all times
• Ensure chemical usage safety with reference to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)

Requirements

• Minimum BSc/HND/ND in Physical Sciences or Engineering (Electrical/Electronics or Production)
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in FMCG or cosmetics industries
• Knowledge of SAP (preferred)
• Knowledge of TPM tools
• Ability to take on technical projects
• Proficiency in standard software such as MS Office and SAP

Salary

₦165,000 net monthly
