Job description
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to compliance rules, statutory provisions, and internal policies
- Monitor and report on financial activities to ensure full regulatory compliance
- Maintain accurate financial records in line with legal requirements
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Support budget preparation and monitoring processes.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Assist in reconciliations of bank statements and accounts.
- Maintain financial records and documentation.
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
Requirements
- A Degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Solid understanding of compliance regulations and statutory provisions
- Proficiency in various accounting software tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft office packages
- Must reside within Abuja.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
