Compliance / Data Analyst Officer at Mopheth Group

About the Role

Mopheth Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance and Data Analyst Officer to join our Procurement Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enforcing compliance with internal policies, verifying procurement documentation, and conducting data analysis to support purchasing decisions. This role requires a strong eye for detail, a high level of integrity, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular compliance checks across procurement activities
• Ensure all supplier invoices follow SOPs (timestamp, supplier name, verification with a green pen)
• Perform data analysis on procurement trends, costs, and inventory levels
• Generate weekly reports highlighting fast-moving items and sales trends
• Prevent overstocking and understocking through data-driven insights
• Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts, and Internal Audit teams
• Conduct training sessions on compliance protocols

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or any related discipline
• Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in compliance, data analysis, or procurement in the retail sector
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and SOPs
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
• Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Current work experience in the retail sector
