## Title: Completions Engineer III

About the Role

Scruples Resources is expanding its dynamic team and seeking an experienced Completions Engineer III to join our operations in Lagos, Nigeria. This technical leadership position involves designing, planning, and executing complex well completion projects while maintaining the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection.

Main Functions

  • Prepare detailed engineering designs and coordinate all phases of planning and completing wells
  • Ensure geological and reservoir objectives are met while applying highest standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection to well design and execution
  • Prepare optimal well designs and plans representing the best cost and investment outcomes
  • Provide technical review and support to drill team designs and operations
  • Evaluate and progress new technology applications, including subsea technology

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the preparation and monitor capital budgets relating to completions and well design
  • Ensure accurate and sustainable quality of data for project timing
  • Interact daily with completion foreman, drilling leadership, and other key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with completion service companies to improve operational efficiency and optimize cost outlays
  • Identify and apply industry best practices as applicable
  • Work in conjunction with safety, environmental, and field operations personnel to optimize safety performance

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Broad and extensive knowledge of completions design, equipment, operations, standards, and specifications, including subsea systems technology
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken, with strong technical and business communication abilities
