## Title: Completions Engineer III

About the Role

We are expanding our dynamic engineering team and seeking a talented Completions Engineer III to join Nautilus Nigeria Engineering and Construction Limited in Lagos. In this technical leadership position, you will oversee well design and completion operations, ensuring optimal engineering integrity, safety, and environmental standards throughout all project phases.

Main Functions

  • Prepare detailed engineering designs and coordinate all phases of planning and completing wells
  • Ensure geological and reservoir objectives are met while maintaining the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection
  • Design well plans representing optimal costs and investments
  • Provide technical review and support to drilling team designs and operations
  • Evaluate and progress new technology applications, including subsea technology

Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Level 3 Completions Engineer, you will:

  • Facilitate preparation and monitor capital budgets relating to completions and well design
  • Ensure accurate and sustainable quality of project timing data
  • Interact daily with completion foremen, drilling leadership, and service company representatives
  • Work with completion service companies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Identify and apply industry best practices
  • Collaborate with safety, environmental, and field operations personnel to optimize safety performance

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Broad and extensive knowledge of completions design, equipment, operations, standards, and specifications (including subsea systems technology)
  • Extensive well management expertise
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Fluent English (written, verbal, and technical/business communication)
