Community Fellowship & Outreach Officer at Vine City Church International

About the Role

Vine City Church International is seeking a qualified Community Fellowship and Outreach Officer to lead outreach efforts and support church administration. This position involves organizing fellowship activities, managing evangelism outreach, and supporting overall church operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate community church services, small group meetings, and prayer sessions to encourage spiritual growth and foster deeper connections within the community
• Develop and manage outreach programs aimed at engaging the local community, attracting new members, and providing resources to those in need
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for church activities and outreach initiatives, ensuring events run smoothly and effectively
• Assist church leadership with day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing schedules, coordinating church programs, and overseeing church records and documentation
• Build relationships with local organizations, residents, and community leaders to foster collaboration and strengthen outreach efforts
• Plan and execute special events, community service projects, and outreach campaigns aligned with the church's vision and mission
• Handle church communications, maintain accurate membership records, assist with financial reporting, and ensure administrative systems operate efficiently
• Manage payroll administration, file management, staff coordination, and follow-up activities
• Track the success of outreach and fellowship programs, gather feedback, and recommend improvements for future initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in any field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience
• Born-again believer with a strong passion for evangelism and discipleship
• Maximum age: 30 years
• Female candidates preferred to promote gender balance
• Strong leadership and communication skills
