Cold Room Supervisor at Resource Intermediaries Limited

About the Role

Resource Intermediaries Limited is expanding its dynamic team and seeking a skilled Cold Room Supervisor to oversee all cold storage operations and supervise assigned technicians.

Principal Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee the picking and serving of chilled room products
• Ensure proper sanitization of the cold room and adherence to relevant standards, including food safety and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) requirements
• Oversee forklift operations
• Ensure proper storage of all inventory items and implement First In First Out (FIFO) issuing procedures
• Prepare and verify invoices
• Supervise goods check-off upon delivery
• Receive, store, test, and ship items kept in cold storage
• Implement and maintain warehouse safety programs specific to cold storage operations
• Address customer inquiries and complaints
• Review work orders to determine forecasts and plan for peak delivery periods
• Create working schedules for pickups and deliveries of cold items
• Supervise staff and provide training on all operational aspects
• Develop efficient cold storage layouts to maximize space and facilitate movement within the facility
• Perform additional assigned duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree
• 3-5+ years of work experience in a related field
• Proven experience supervising teams
• Computer literacy
