Job Summary
The Clinical Quality Manager is a member of the Clinical Services Directorate and is responsible for coordinating and ensuring high-quality training and clinical standards across MSI Reproductive Choices service delivery channels in line with the global "One World One Standard" commitment.
This role includes coordination and provision of high-quality training in MSI core family planning and post-abortion care services across all channels. The position will be based in Abuja with regular travel to other states within the region.
Note: The duties and responsibilities presented below may change at management discretion.
Key Responsibilities
Team Coordination and Field Level Accountability
- Support the Clinical Services Directorate to coordinate the activities of Regional Quality Advisors in ensuring proactive management of clinical quality and training delivery
- Manage a regional-level channel competency and training database, conduct monthly analysis, and recommend country program strategies to ensure a competent service delivery workforce
- Coordinate annual cost-centre and state-level, SCTO/CTO-driven mock quality assurance exercises to deepen accountability and ownership of quality of care by state teams
- Coordinate second-level quality of care validation by Regional Quality Advisors and State Clinical Training Officers
- Collaborate with Research, Monitoring & Evaluation and Programs/Operations teams to strengthen data triangulation and documentation practices
Provision of Quality Clinical Training
- Coordinate delivery of clinical trainings to ensure quality conforms to Marie Stopes International Medical Development Team training standards and Federal Ministry of Health requirements
- Coordinate all activities of Regional Quality Advisors within their region and provide appropriate and relevant support to ensure all clinical trainings are quality assured and meet desired objectives
