About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce classroom rules and behavioral expectations for students
• Prepare lessons, units, and projects aligned with learning objectives
• Set clear, measurable objectives for lessons, units, and projects and communicate them to students
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students' interests and diverse learning styles
• Encourage students to explore learning opportunities and potential career paths
• Create, assign, and grade various assessments including tests, quizzes, essays, and projects
• Provide one-on-one support to students requiring extra help and attention
• Track and evaluate student academic progress regularly
• Administer tests to assess student learning and progress
• Lead parent-teacher meetings and maintain open communication with families
• Help students develop and improve study methods and learning habits
• Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and supervisors
• Manage student behavior effectively and constructively

Requirements

• HND or BSc qualification
• 1-5 years of relevant work experience
