Chinese Translator at Transsion Holdings

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and fluent Chinese Translator to support communication between our Chinese-speaking stakeholders and the local team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating written and verbal communication accurately and efficiently, supporting meetings, documents, and day-to-day business activities.

Responsibilities

• Translate documents, emails, and business materials from Chinese to English and vice versa
• Provide real-time verbal translation during meetings, calls, and site visits
• Assist Chinese expatriates in communicating effectively with local staff and partners
• Support departmental heads and team leads in document interpretation and presentations
• Maintain the confidentiality of all translated materials and sensitive company information
• Proofread and edit translated texts for accuracy, grammar, and tone
• Handle additional administrative support as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Language, Linguistics, or related field
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written)
• 1–2 years of experience as a translator or interpreter in a professional setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Prior experience working in telecommunications, manufacturing, or tech environments is an advantage
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity in handling multicultural teams
• Strong organizational and time management skills
