## Title: Chief of Staff

About the Role

Stella Maris High School seeks a Chief of Staff to serve as the operational nerve center of the Executive Office. This is a senior execution role reporting directly to the Executive Director/Founder, operating across Education, Technology, Media & IP divisions.

Location: Hybrid | High-availability role

Key Responsibilities

Executive Office Command Center

You will design, build, and run the Executive Office as an operational nerve center, owning:

  • Weekly Executive Reports to the Founder
  • Overdue and risk dashboards
  • Leadership action trackers
  • Cross-business dependency tracking
  • Central executive documentation library (Confluence/Drive)

Every executive meeting must result in clear decisions, assigned owners, defined deadlines, documented outcomes, and tracked follow-up. No meeting concludes until execution is actively monitored.

Execution Enforcement

You will serve as the primary follow-through engine, responsible for:

  • Tracking deliverables across leadership, HR, IT, schools, and product teams
  • Relentlessly pursuing owners on committed actions
  • Surfacing blockers early
  • Escalating performance gaps
  • Documenting non-compliance
  • Insisting on factual updates rather than narrative-based reporting

Systems & Process Building

You will convert operational chaos into structured systems, building and maintaining:

  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational playbooks
  • Onboarding frameworks
  • Leadership scorecards
  • Audit and compliance templates
  • Reporting systems
  • Role charters and workflows

Cross-Business Integration

You will operate above departmental boundaries to ensure alignment across:

  • Stella Maris Schools
  • MyStar Technology ecosystem
  • HR & Executive Office
  • Media & IP arms
  • Vendors and consultants

You will prevent silos, surface conflicts early, and protect executive priorities.

Leadership Performance Support

You will provide direct support to the Founder, including:

  • Weekly performance briefs
  • Risk and bottleneck analysis
  • Hiring and onboarding tracking
  • Policy rollout enforcement
  • Execution recommendations

Required Profile

This role is only for someone with strong operations or program management experience.
