## Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance function and drive sustainable financial growth. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing financial leadership, business insight, and operational excellence to support strategic decision-making and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and direction to the company's executive management team
  • Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that support business objectives and profitability
  • Manage investor relations, external audits, and relationships with financial institutions and regulatory bodies
  • Ensure compliance with all tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements
  • Analyze financial results and performance, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization and revenue growth
  • Oversee risk management, internal controls, and corporate governance processes
  • Lead financial due diligence for investments, mergers, or acquisitions
  • Mentor and manage the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CFA is required
  • MBA or Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and business strategy
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
