Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all accounting and finance operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Develop and align financial plans with the company's strategic goals, offering actionable insights and recommendations
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support operational and growth initiatives
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls and regulatory compliance
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial laws, standards, and reporting requirements
- Drive operational efficiency and cost optimization across departments
- Advise executive leadership and the Board on financing, investment, and capital structure strategies
- Monitor key financial metrics and prepare periodic performance reports for management and the Board
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering professionalism and accountability
- Stay informed of industry trends and financial best practices to enhance the company's competitiveness
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree (MBA) is an added advantage
- Recognized professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience
