About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher with strong expertise in teaching Key Stage 3–4 and delivering the IGCSE Chemistry curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory lessons
• Simplify complex scientific concepts for students
• Prepare students for external examinations
• Manage diverse classroom environments effectively
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Cater to mixed-ability learners with differentiated instruction

Requirements

• B.Sc Degree in Chemistry or related field
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of IGCSE Chemistry curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Proficiency in assessment and evaluation
• Ability to teach mixed-ability learners
• IGCSE certification (advantageous)

Desirable Qualities

• Familiarity with Cambridge assessment standards
• Knowledge of best practices in science education

Compensation

N70,000 - N150,000 per month
