Chartered Accountant at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, finance, and auditing, with a strong grasp of regulatory frameworks and financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial reports in accordance with IFRS and local regulations
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
• Handle tax planning, preparation, and compliance (PAYE, VAT, WHT, etc.)
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate posting of all transactions
• Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls
• Manage budgeting and forecasting activities
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
• Support senior management with financial analysis and insights

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACA or ICAN)
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or SAP)
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
