CCTV Operator at African Natural Resources & Mines Limited(ANRML)

Position Summary

African Natural Resources & Mines Limited (ANRML) is recruiting a CCTV Operator responsible for monitoring and operating surveillance equipment, recording and reporting suspicious activities, and ensuring the safety and security of the premises. This role requires vigilance, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live CCTV feeds to detect suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, or security breaches
• Maintain CCTV systems, ensure cameras are functioning properly, and report any faults
• Retrieve and review footage for investigations or incident reporting
• Log all activities, observations, and incidents in the control room record
• Coordinate with security officers, supervisors, and emergency services when necessary
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and unusual activities
• Ensure the control room is secure and operate according to company policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of all surveillance footage and information
• Support investigations by providing accurate and timely footage

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert for long periods
• Basic knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Integrity, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a CCTV Operator or in security operations
