## Title: CCTV Operator
Position Overview
African Foundries Limited is seeking a qualified CCTV Operator to join our security team. This role involves monitoring surveillance systems and maintaining site security across our Ogijo facility in Ogun State.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor multiple CCTV screens for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, vandalism, or safety hazards
- Operate PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras, switch views, and focus on specific areas or individuals as required
- Alert security personnel or law enforcement to incidents, providing real-time intelligence on suspect descriptions and locations
- Maintain detailed logs, reports, and incident books, documenting all actions taken and events observed
- Securely record, store, and retrieve video footage for investigations and evidence purposes
- Ensure all CCTV equipment, alarms, and access controls are functioning correctly and report any malfunctions
- Monitor staff working in isolated areas to ensure their safety and well-being
Requirements
- OND or SSCE qualification
- 1–3 years of relevant experience

- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for reporting and liaising with team members
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with IT systems and surveillance equipment
- Integrity & Professionalism: Ability to maintain a calm, solutions-oriented approach under pressure
- Flexibility: Ability to work rotating shifts, including 24/7 coverage
Work Environment
This role is based in a central control room operating on rotating shifts. You will work with banks of monitors, keyboards, and communication devices to maintain continuous surveillance and security monitoring.
