Business Risk Officer at Unified Payment Services Limited

About the Role

Unified Payment Services Limited seeks a dedicated Business Risk Officer to identify, measure, monitor, manage, minimize, and report risks that may negatively impact the achievement of business objectives. This role ensures alignment with enterprise risk tolerance and business strategy.

Key Objectives

• Promptly identify, measure, monitor, manage, minimize, and report risks impacting business objectives
• Conduct unit-specific risk and control self-assessments and risk mapping
• Implement fraud prevention measures and mitigation strategies
• Support business continuity and process improvement initiatives

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform operational risk assessments of all departments within the enterprise and company subsidiaries
• Ensure internal controls support operational effectiveness and efficiency
• Provide risk advisory to various departments regarding new products, implementations, change requests, and system integrations to mitigate operational, reputational, strategic, and regulatory risks
• Prepare Operational Risk reports for Senior Management
• Investigate and resolve alleged fraudulent incidents in collaboration with other departments
• Escalate issues with potential for negative industry and corporate exposure
• Conduct special investigations and reviews for suspicious scheme transactions

Additional Responsibilities

• Evaluate department operations and activities to identify, assess, measure, and mitigate risks
• Provide risk-mitigating factors, remediation options, and process improvement recommendations to business units
• Follow up with business units to design and implement controls and action plans for operational risk mitigation
• Plan, manage, and provide ongoing support for the implementation of the operational risk framework
• Facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) workshops for business units
