Business Officer - Ikorodu at Bosak Microfinance Bank Limited

About the Role

Bosak Microfinance Bank Limited is recruiting a Business Officer for our Ikorodu location in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for managing loan applications, assessing borrower creditworthiness, and ensuring compliance with all credit policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Approve loan applications within specified approval limits and refer applications exceeding approved limits to management for further review
• Meet with loan applicants to gather required information and address inquiries regarding the loan application process
• Analyze applicants' financial status, credit history, and collateral/property valuations to determine loan feasibility
• Explain available loan products, credit options, and applicable terms and conditions to customers
• Obtain, verify, and compile loan applicants' credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other relevant financial documentation
• Review, update, and maintain accurate credit and loan files in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with credit policies, risk management guidelines, and regulatory standards
• Provide periodic reports on loan portfolio performance as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, HND, or OND
• 1–3 years of relevant experience
